About Freckle & Ceilidh

Freckle is a Boxer — three years old we’re told. We met Freckle in October/November 2006 on the North Idaho Boxer Rescue website. Ceilidh (pronounced Kaylee) is a 12-year-old Pug who has lived with us since she was 6 months old. Freckle is our third Boxer and Ceilidh is our first Pug. Ceilidh outlived our first two Boxers and remains the ‘top dog’ in our house. This blog is a collection of vignettes about the life and times … of the four of us. Please feel free to comment.

    This is the first time I have visited your blog site and Ihave enjoyed visiting with the four of you very much. I have a rescue by the name of Duke and he has been a comfort to me through some very difficult times. He can be quite exasperating at times as he is very vocal and makes his needs known in no uncertain terms. He is terrific with my 23 month old granddaughter although somewhat jealous, sibling rivelry? I look forward to reading about Freckles and Ceilidh in the future.
